Jenelle completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Regina. She went on to complete her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Alberta. During her studies she completed her thesis research in the area of augmentative and alternative communication by looking at the value of online mentoring for changes in language output for users of AAC.

Jenelle went on to work in a variety of community and hospital settings with both children and adults. Jenelle primarily worked in an outpatient feeding and swallowing clinic at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon before having her children and relocating to Edmonton.

In addition, Jenelle continued her passion for AAC while working for a private clinic in Saskatoon and through the Children’s Home Care program (AHS) here in Edmonton.

Jenelle is now working for herself while contracting for a different agencies in Edmonton as well.
